Chocolate Turtles

Although single dangle earrings aren't as clever as some jewelry designs it's always nice to relax and make a pair.

The new Chocolate Turtles earrings are simple and sweet. The great materials make up for a less than intricate design.

A TOUCH OF SUN AND BEAUTY

I found perfect inspiration from a family photo (Seen Above)

It's that time a year again. Time for lighter foundation and shimmering cheeks. It's also time to bring a touch of summer to PreciousPuzzle.com

SO.....

I created a chunky glass and crystal necklace accented with a hand painted sea shell pendant. A gold plated toggle and copper chain finishes of the necklace. This fun and funky look will go great with any sun dress.

BOOKMARKS ARE HERE

I just added bookmarks to the website.
These three bookmarks are the first in the series called Stories. The series will cover a large span of reading topics, so each story can be marked with a bookmark fitted for that story.

I plan on the sci fi bookmarks being the crown jewels of the stories collection. I hope to start sketching ideas tomorrow.

Inspired By Grandma

I find inspiration everywhere.

This includes finding art in my sadness. My grandmother was recently hospitalized for her heart. I'm glad to say she is out now and doing well.

I spent as much time caring for her as I could during her hospital visit. It was hard seeing her so helpless but whenever my selfishness got the best of me and I became overwhelmed with sadness I would look into her eyes.

Her eyes were young and full of life, and in the center of her gaze was strength and comfort. I decided to take inspiration from that beauty while creating "GRANDMA", one of my newest bracelets to the Precious Puzzle line.

1.) Like all of my projects I will keep a picture, or object in mind while conceptualizing my piece. In this case it was a list of key words: GOLDEN, CLASSY, NATURAL, BEAUTIFUL STRENGTH and a picture of my grandmother.

2.) I then choose a bead that I want my piece to focus around. In this case I choose crystals. I have to admit that most of the time I choose crystals. I think I might be obsessed.

3.)After I make my crystal choice I experiment with materials. Usually placing them together randomly to see how well they play together. Then I begin to organize them deciding on the
length (7 in.) and the pattern.

The Grandma inspired bracelet is complete and I love it. I hope it reminds everyone of beauty and strength.

MATERIALS

Citrin
Cats Eye
Gold Plated Magnetic Clasp
Glass Beads
Painted Wood Beads
Potato Pearls
